Born 1.961 in Heinsberg (near Aachen, Germany), studied and trained in Bonn, Maastricht, Cologne, Madrid and Palma de Mallorca. From 1.992 to 1.997 worked as a solicitor in a Spanish-German law firm in Frankfurt and Marbella. Since 1.997 worked in Cologne as a solicitor specialised in contract and company law, as well as in Spanish tax, contract and building law. In 1.997 also passed the qualification exam for EU-lawyers at the Spanish Ministry of Justice. Since 1.998 officially qualified as Spanish Lawyer and member of the Law Society of Málaga. Doctorate 2.001 in Bonn with a thesis regarding comparative Spanish and German law. Member of the German-Spanish Jurist Association since 1.989.
